Find Great Teen Books!

This database  provides access to all of YALSA's annual selected book and media lists, awards, and honorees. These books and media have been selected for teens from 12-18 years of age, and span a broad range of reading and maturity levels.  


This goodreads Listopia>teen books list  organizes readers' recommended teen booklists by many different genres and categories.


Our Badgerlink database includes Novelist, which allows users to find fiction recommendations with read-alikes, discussion guides, reading lists, and more. For teens and adults. 

Epic Reads -Epic Reads Insiders is a strong and mighty community of book nerds, librarians, book bloggers, bookstagrammers and book tubers who are passionate about books. Wondering if you can consider yourself part of this network of book nerds? Well, do you read YA and consider yourself a book lover? This Christmas, reach children with Faith, Hope & Love       

A non-profit organization in Racine County, Faith Hope & Love  provides relief for children that are going through difficult life situations. There are three different programs that allow them to serve very specific needs of children in the community.

  • Duffels for KidsAn emergency duffel bag filled with personal care and comfort items for children displaced from their home due to abuse, neglect or a tragedy.
  • Blast Packs A tool for law enforcement to promote positive relationships with children visiting parents who are incarcerated and allow children out in the community to … Have a Blast with Law Enforcement.
  • New Beginnings -All the necessities for the first 48 hours after a child is recovered from human trafficking, is provided in this bag.  The New Beginnings bags are supplied to law enforcement in Southeastern Wisconsin. 

How Can You Help?

This December, choose a paper ornament off of one of the Christmas trees in the library.  The ornament will be labeled with an item to contribute to Racine's Faith, Hope & Love mission to assist kids in crisis.  Items should be brand new.  

Purchased tems should be brought to the library by Dec. 14, 2018.
